Major Awards - The National Koi Show 2023
Aaaand - we're back!
The show season has kicked off with a big bang, what a weekend! Definitely the busiest 'National' I've seen, with a great effort by the organisers and volunteers to build a bigger show and attract more attendees. Congratulations to all that volunteered and took part. There were some stunning koi on display, in great condition, and it was a pleasure to see them in the flesh and photograph them. Thank you exhibitors for taking the risks involved in sharing your cherished koi with us all, salutes!
From a photographer's perspective, the weather threw out some interesting challenges, and I was kept firmly on my toes! However, every day is a learning day and despite the trials of being outdoors, you can't beat seeing them-there-koi in natural daylight.
