The North of England Koi Show 2025

The weekend saw the epic Holland Koi Show take place and (on home soil) the North of England Koi Show. I wish I could split myself in two, but it's a talent I have yet to master, so off to Sunderland I went! 

Yet again, the NE Team put their heart and soul into the show. After the poor turnout last year, everyone was hoping for an increase in footfall, and thankfully, it happened. There's still plenty of growth needed to secure the future of the show, and how that happens is anyone's guess, but the show always has a lovely group behind it and a brilliant atmosphere. They just need more people to go and enjoy it! 

Those who did visit seemed in high spirits, and the Japanese cuisine on offer proved very popular. There's even a lovely ice cream parlour a short walk up the road, which I may have frequented! Congratulations to the show team, sponsors, exhibitors and everyone involved in what was a great weekend!
